In a major move to improve its emergency response capabilities, Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) on Tuesday unveiled the state-of-the-art firefighting apparatus that it had purchased for its airport rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) division.

At the CIAL Central Block, Industries Minister P Rajeeve officially launched the multipurpose firefighting robot and articulated boom lift. Attendees included airport director Manu G, executive directors Jayarajan V and Saji K George, director Varghese Jacob, and CIAL MD S Suhas.
